The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM) was established under the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia Act 1999. SUHAKAM has the mandate and responsibility as the National Human Rights Institution, to promote awareness and protection of human rights. Malaysian Citizens who are innovative, dedicated and qualified are invited to fill the following positions: :

Suruhanjaya Hak Asasi Manusia (SUHAKAM) has been implementing programs relating to Human Rights to give freedom to the people of Malaysia for more than 14 years, since it first active operation in 1999 after its inauguration by the parliament through the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia Act 1999, Act 597.
Suruhanjaya Hak Asasi Manusia (SUHAKAM) will implement some of the strategies and methods that have been carefully planned, aiming to provide a general understanding and awareness of the public about the human rights of every citizen of Malaysia.
Suruhanjaya Hak Asasi Manusia (SUHAKAM) important to get authority from Parliament to become superintendent of the institution implementing government policies relating to the rights of citizens. Human Rights, which is taken from the ideology of capitalism will never give positive results in real life, that’s a fact according to the implementation on the field. Suruhanjaya Hak Asasi Manusia (SUHAKAM) will assist the government in formulating legislation relating to the protection of the rights of Malaysians.
